Wallner. We offer over 40 standard
expanded metal patterns that will allow the
customer to create their own open area. Wallner
works with today's industry demands on airflow,
structural and security requirements. All patterns
can be modified to increase or decrease size
as needed. All angles and strands can be changed.
Open area, strength and rigidity can also be
altered based upon the customers individual
requirements. Our engineering and R&D departments
work side-by-side in creating solutions to customer
needs. We approach each project with the same
determination and enthusiasm as the last.
Most of Wallner's decorative expanded
metal mesh patterns are used in the screen door
and pet grill industry, however, we also supply
additional applications that include architectural
design and decorative vent faceplates. We have
over 14 unique decorative patterns to choose
from, and our in-house tool room specializes
in creating new decorative designs from scratch
based on each and every customers guidelines.
Our decorative pattern inventory includes several
designs and patterns that were derived from
our customers specific needs and requirements.
One day one of our customers that
produces screen doors came to us with an issue. They
were having problems with small children getting their
fingers stuck in the openings of their screens because
the holes were too large. The customer really liked
their current screen pattern that they were using
and its aesthetics, but they knew that they needed
to modify it in order to keep up with the competition.
To help satisfy our customers needs, we took a copy
of their current pattern, reduced the open area by
30%, digitalized the pattern, and created a tool that
produced their new pattern the very next day.
